Edward is a writer, filmmaker, & Creative Director born and raised in Chicago, USA. Upon graduating from Columbia College Chicago in 2012, he was shortlisted for the Emerging Filmmaker Award by the Chicago Film Critics Association.

Edward's works include DISPATCH, an audio-driven animated cinematic VR narrative, which received overwhelming acclaim for its innovation and is touted as one of the best VR narratives to date. DISPATCH premiered in competition at the 2017 La Biennale di Venezia Film Festival and the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, and won a Gold Lion at Cannes 2018.

His short form work including TESLA, Trust, and Violator have toured festivals and earned renown, including two coveted Vimeo Staff Picks.

More recently, Edward was shortlisted for The Black List's NRDC Climate Storyteller Fellowship, ranking in the top 15 writers from over 400 applicants.

Edward is currently:

• Developing his first feature film, Spellcaster, in both Los Angeles and Chicago

• Making yet another short film, despite his better judgement

• Catching matinees at Vidiots

• Freelance Creative Directing at large
